Answer:

in cyclic quadrilateral sum of opp angles is 180

Step-by-step explanation:

so , 2y+4+4x-4 = 180

5x+5+y+10 = 180

4x+2y = 180 , 5x+y+15 = 180

2x+y=90

5x+y=165

by solving , 3x = 75

x= 25

y= 90 - 2x

= 90-50

= 40

hope it helps you

Answer:

X=25 and y =40

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that sum of opposite angles of a quadrilateral is equal to 180 degree

therefore,

2y+4+(4x - 4)=180 --------(i)

and y+10+5x+5=180

thus, 2y +4x = y +5x+15

y - 15 = x

or. x= y -15 -------(ii)

putting this value of x in (i) we get

2y +4 + 4(y-15) - 4 = 180

=> 6y - 60 = 180

=>6(y-10)= 180

=> y-10=180÷6=30

=> y-10=30

=>y =40

putting y =40 in (ii) we get

x = 40-15

= 25
