  • No. of frogs born in a year = 40
  • Total number of the frogs = 200 + 40

= 240

  • Now, Birth rate of the Population = No. of births/Total population × 100

= 40/240 × 100

= 50/3 %

= 16.67 %

  • Hence, the Birth rate of the Population is 16.67 %.
