p(x) = 7x+2
p(7)= 7(7)+2

X-7 =0
x = 7 -(1)
7x+2 =0
putting the value of x
7(7) +2 =0
49 +2 =0
51 is not equal to 0
hence x-7 cannot be the remainder when p(x) is divided by 7x+2
Hope it helps you mark as brainliest please
