Answer:

p(x) = x-7 = 0

= x= 7

p(x) = 7x+2

p(7)= 7(7)+2

= 49+2

= 51

so , no x-7 can't be I think you can also check it by division method .

51 is not equal to 0

hence x-7 cannot be the remainder when p(x) is divided by 7x+2
