\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Question :-}}}}

\mathtt{ - 40 + \overline{( - 1) - (2)} \times 6 \div \overline{3 - 2}}

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Answer :-}}}}

The answer is -58

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Explanation :-}}}}

\mathtt{\implies - 40 + \overline{( - 1) - (2)} \times 6 \div \overline{3 - 2}}

Solving According to BODMAS rules.

Simplify the Vinculum

\mathtt{\implies -40 + ( - 3) \times 6 \div 1}

Now, division

\mathtt{\implies \:  - 40 + ( - 3) \times 6}

Multiply (-3) and 6

\mathtt{\implies - 40 + ( - 18)}

Add (-40) and (-18)

\mathtt{\implies - 58}

\therefore The answer is -58

Additional Information :-

BODMAS stands for :

B : Bracket

O : Of

D : Division

M : Multiplication

A : Addition

S : Subtraction

BODMAS rule means, when we get a mathematical Statement, we need to solve it according to the order the operations are arranged in the word BODMAS.

In brackets, the following is the order they are to be solved.

\tt\overline{25} Vinculum

( ) Round Brackets

{ } Curly Brackets

[ ] Square Brackets

"Of" operation means when a number or fraction is before a bracket, and without any other operation sign in between, it is simple Multiplication.

Example :-

\tt{\implies}{2 \: of \: (4 + 5) \: or \: 2(4 + 5)}

Multiply 2 by 4 and 5 and then add.

\tt{\implies} \: 8 + 10 \\ \tt{\implies}18
