ANS-

(I)Five rational numbers between -1 and 0 are -1/2, -1/3,-1/4,-2/3,-2/7

(ii)Five rational numbers between -4/5 and -2/3 are

LCM of 5 and 3 is 15

= -12/15 and -10/15

If there are insufficient number between then double the numbers

= -12/15×2=-24/30

=-10/15×2=-20/30

If there are insufficient number between then again double the numbers

-24/30×2=-48/60

-20/30×2=-40/60

Five rational numbers are -41/60,-42/60,-43/60,-44/60,-45/60
