We know that,

Sin b = cos(90-B).........(2)

Now, from equation (1) & (2) we get:-

=> cos(2B-30) = cos(90-B)

Therefore,

=> 2B-30=90-B

=> 2B+B=90+30

=> 3B = 120

=> B = 120/3

=> B = 40
