Yes,It is 100% possible that without any flame or matches a piece of paper can be burnt.If we take sun as a source of Light and we place the lense such that it's light falls on lens and after that we will have to place that paper to the focus of the lens.....Convex lenses are called converging lenses bcz they converge whole light Ray's at one point (It's Focus) when the light is coming from infinity (for eg-Sun)
