Step-by-step explanation:

C.P of 20 units = 22000 × 20 = 440000

S.p of first 10 units = 18500 × 10

S.p of second 10 units = 17500 × 10

Total S.p = 18500*10 + 17500*10 = (18500+17500)*10 = 360000

Loss of Jacob = C.p - S.p = 440000 - 360000 = 80000

Loss % of Jacob = (C.p - S.p)/C.p × 100 = 80000/440000 × 100 = 18.18% Loss

(Note multiplication of 100 is according to formula, don't think it is multiplication with C.P in denominator. It is actually multiplication with whole (C.p - S.p)/C.p )
