Ok lets enter to your question: -

We will take here

y=square root of x

And let,

x=0.04 and delta x= 0.003 then

By applying the formula of ,

delta (y)= square root ofx+deltax- rootx

delta (y)=root of 0.037 -root0.04

root of 0.037=0.2+delta (y)

Now, dy is equal to delta (y)

And we know that,

dy=(dy/dx)×delta x

dy=1/2root0.04(-0.03)

=-0.0075

Therefore the appropriate value of root 0.037 is

=0.2-0.0075

=0.1925.

Hope it helps u mate.

Thank you.
