Solution,

Rs 8000 is for 4 months

Number of months in an year = 12

Share of 4 months = 1/3

So the total depreciation for 12 months = Depreciation for 4 months x 3

= 8000 x 3

= rs 24000

So, the Annual depreciation of the fixed assets will be Rs. 24000
