Let the length of the rectangle be x then according to the question:

Width = 2/3 Length

==> Width = 2x / 3

Given,

Perimeter = 180 m

We know,

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(length + width)

==> 2(x + 2x / 3 ) = 180

==> 2( 5x / 3 ) = 180

==> 10x = 540

==> x = 54

Length = x = 54 m

Width = 2x/3 = 18×2 = 36 m

Dimensions of Rectangle = 54 × 36
