Here momentum is conserved.
According to law of conservation of momentum both the masses must move in opposite direction.
mu =m1v1+ m2v2 …… (1)
m= 100kg,u=0, m1= 99kg, v1= v, m2=1kg, v2=200m/s
keep these values in equation (1)
100(0) =99(v) + 1(200)
v=200÷99
v=2.02m/s
therefore it moves at a speed 2.02 m/s
