There will be same velocity and no change as there is no effect of pressure on velocity.

  • Sound generally tends to travel in any medium because of the movement of the particles of the medium to the listener by the source.
  • In the approximation of an ideal gas, air pressure doesn't have any role to execute to decide the velocity of the sound.
  • And as pressure and density together contribute to the sound velocity they nullify each other.
  • Therefore, there is no effect of pressure on the velocity of sound.
