In case I and III, the electric field between two particles will be zero.

Explanation:

  • In case IV, the distance between the electron and the particle is very large.
  • The forces due to electron and proton can not be balanced.
  • The forces between these charged particles vary in case I and III and the electric field between them becomes zero.
