Here A and D refer to arrival and departure of the train from a station.
The time noted is like time in our watch but it is given without the colon(:) mark so you need to put colon in each of these times as
2145 = 21:45.
A. The time duration from one station to other can be calculated by subtracting the time of D of station 1 from time of A of station 2.
So shortest time will be for the train with least difference
B. The fastest train will be the one which took shortest time.
C. The longest time means the difference between A and D of station 2 and 1 is maximum.
D. The longest time means the difference between A and D of station 2 and 1 is maximum.
