use the formula for max height H max = u^2 sin^2 @ / 2 g

So for first object u1^2 * sin ^2 45 / 2 g

For the second u2^2 * sin^2 60 / 2g

As both are said to be equal, equating and cancelling 2 g and taking square root on both sides

u1 sin 45 = u2 sin 60

So u1/u2= sin60/sin45

               =√3/√2

answer is option (4)

nikes: answer is 4
