Given :- In the development of Cone, the subtended angle 0 (Theta) is calculated as :-

A. (Theta) = 360 X (radius of base circle / slant height)

B. (Theta) = 360 X (slant height / radius of base circle)

C. (Theta) = 180 X (radius of base circle / slant height)

D. (Theta) = 180 X (slant height / radius of base circle)

Solution :-

Let radius of the sector is r and angle is angle of sector is θ .

so, in order for development of cone , first we need to find the slant height of cone of height h by using pythagoras formula .

then,

→ slant height = √[(r² + h²)]

since circumference of base of cone is equal to length of arc .

so,

→ Angle = 360° * (radius/slant height) .

therefore,

→ (Theta) = 360 X (radius of base circle / slant height) (A)
