Answer:

2 A

Explanation:

Here,

Resistances of 5 ohm and 20 ohm are in series combination( for their own ) whereas they are in parallel combination for the effective resistance of series combination of 15 ohm and 10 ohm.

Effective resistance of 5 ohm and 20 ohm is ( 5 + 20 ) ohm or 25 ohm.

Effective resistance O 15 ohm and 10 ohm is ( 15 + 10 ) ohm or 25 ohm.

Total effective resistance is reciprocal of 1 / 25 + 1 / 25

= > Effective resistance is ( 25 x 25 ) / ( 25 + 25 ) => 25 / 2 => 12.5 ohm.

Therefore,

= > Current I = V / R

= > Current = 25 / 12.5 A

= > Current = 2 A

= > Current = 2 A

Answer: 2 A

Firstly see the figure u have four resistor

Upper are in series and lower one are in series and last these two are in parallel so net resistance = 12.5 ohm

At last to find I by ohms low

V=IR so I= v/r

I= 2 A answer
