Hello mate.

Ammnonia leaves pungent odor and particles of ammonia traveled in all corners of room by diffusion. There was more concentration of ammonia in region where it was spilt and lesser in other corners of room. So ammonia particles traveled in all corners to equalize the concentration.

This was due to the property of matter that 'particles of matter have energy and are constantly moving.'

When window was opened, there was even lesser concentration of ammonia particles outside. So, the particles decided to move out of the window.

Hope this helped.
