Hence,
Angle BAC = Angle BCA ------- (2)
(In isoceles triangle, angles opposite to equal sides are equal)
In Triangle ABE and Triangle CBD :
AB = BC [Given]
Angle BAC = BCA [From (2)]
AE = CD [From (1)]
HENCE, TRIANGLE ABE IS CONGRUENT TO TRIANGLE CBD
