we know that weight on earth = ma i.e mass X acceleration due to gravity

so, weight on earth = 60 X 9.8 [ acceleration due to gravity is constant]

= 588 kg wt

now,

weight on moon = 1/6 of weight on moon

so, weight on moon = 1/6 X 588

= 98 kg wt

ans. weight of the man on earth is 588 kg wt and on moon is 98 kg wt

Hy,
Weight on moon= weight on Earth*Moon's gravity, which is 0.165
So weight on moon=60*0.165=9.9 Kg
Hope it helps
