Cosecθ (sinθ - cosθ) = √2  [Given]

But, cosec 45 = √2

Cosecθ (sinθ - cosθ) = cosec 45

θ = 45

sinθ + cosθ = 1/√2 + 1/√2

                   = 2/√2

                   = √2

cosθ = cos 45 = 1/√2

So, sinθ + cosθ = 2cosθ

Therefore, option 2 is correct.

Hope this helps you. :)

Answer:

Cosecθ (sinθ - cosθ) = √2  [Given]

But, cosec 45 = √2

Cosecθ (sinθ - cosθ) = cosec 45

θ = 45

sinθ + cosθ = 1/√2 + 1/√2

                  = 2/√2

                  = √2

cosθ = cos 45 = 1/√2

So, sinθ + cosθ = 2cosθ

Therefore, option 2 is correct.
