Given  :    Two different Oil varieties A and B are mixed, and the mixture is sold at the price of 120 per litre.

Price of A is *105 per litre and Price of B is 150 per litre.

There are 68 litres of Oil variety B in the mixture,

To Find :  what is the total quantity of the mixture

Solution:

Let say total quantity of the mixture  = X  litre

Oil variety B in the mixture,    = 68 litre

=> Oil variety A in the mixture,    = X - 68 litre

sold at the price of 120 per litre.

= 120X

Price of A is *105 per litre  = 105 ( X - 68)

= 105X  - 7140  Rs

Price of B is 150 per litre.  =  150 * 68

= 10200  Rs

Assuming no loss no profit

120X =  105X  - 7140 + 10200

=> 15X  =  3060

=>  X  =  204

total quantity of the mixture =  204
