→ Sanjay speed = 50% more than that of sandeep speed .

→ Sanjay speed = 150% of sandeep speed .

→ Sanjay speed = (150/100) * sandeep speed .

→ sanjay speed / sandeep speed = 3/2

→ sanjay speed : sandeep speed = 3 : 2 .

we know that,

  • when time is constant, then speed is directly proportional to distance.

so,

→ sanjay speed : sandeep speed = sanjay distance : sandeep distance = 3 : 2

Let sanjay runs 3x m and sandeep runs 2x m.

→ 3x - 2x = 180m

→ x = 180 m .

therefore,

→ Length of track = 180 * 3 = 540m . (Ans.)
