Radius = OP = OB = OQ = 10 cm
OA = BC = 2√5 cm
Join OB
Thus we obtain a Right ∆OBC
APPLYING PYTHAGORAS THEOREM
OB^2 = OC^2 + BC^2
(10)^2 = OC^2 + (2√5)^2
OC^2 = 100 - 20
OC = √80
OC = 4√5 cm
Thus ar(OABC) = Length × breath
=> OC × OA
=> 4√5 × 2√5
=> 40 cm^2
OA = BC = 2√5 cm
Join OB
Thus we obtain a Right ∆OBC
APPLYING PYTHAGORAS THEOREM
OB^2 = OC^2 + BC^2
(10)^2 = OC^2 + (2√5)^2
OC^2 = 100 - 20
OC = √80
OC = 4√5 cm
Thus ar(OABC) = Length × breath
=> OC × OA
=> 4√5 × 2√5
=> 40 cm^2
