10.

Area of Shaded Region= Area of semi circle- Area of Triangle.

In triangle PRQ,

By Pythagoras Theorem,

RQ^2 = PR^2 + PQ^2

=> RQ^2 = 16^2 + 12^2

=> QR^2 = 256 + 144

=> QR^2 = 400

=> QR = 20cm.

Area of Semi Circle= pie × r^2 /2

=> 22/7 × 10 × 10/2

=> 3.14 × 10 × 5

=> 31.4 × 5

=> 157cm^2.

Now, Area of Triangle PRQ,

= 1/2 × 12 × 16

= 16 × 6

= 96cm^2.

Area of shaded Region = 157 - 96

=61cm^2.

So, OR^2

=242+72=242+72

=576+49=625=576+49=625

Or, OR=25 cmOR=25 cm

Or radius = 12.5 cm

Area of triangle =½×base×height=½×base×height

=½×24×7=84 sq cm=½×24×7=84 sq cm

Area of semicircle =½×πr2=½×πr2

=½×π×12.52=245.3125 sq cm=½×π×12.52=245.3125 sq cm

So, area of shaded region = 245.3125 – 84 = 161.3125 sq cm
