➛XYY syndrome is a rare chromosomal disorder that affects males. It is caused by the presence of an extra Y chromosome. Males normally have one X and one Y chromosome. However, individuals with this syndrome have one X and two Y chromosomes. Affected individuals are usually very tall.

➛Triple X syndrome, also known as trisomy X and 47,XXX, is characterized by the presence of an extra X chromosome in each cell of a female. Those affected are often taller than average. Usually there are no other physical differences and normal fertility.

Jacob's Syndrome (44 + XYY):- This incidence occurs in 1 in 1000 live born males. Those males are also known as super males. These patients have extra Y-chromosome. So the production of testosterone increased in these patients. These individuals have aggressive behaviour, abnormal height, mentally retarded and some times criminal bent of mind.

Multi-X females (44 + XXX):- This incidence occurs in 1 out 1200 females. Females having this disorder are also known as super females. Mental retardation is proportional to the No. of X-chromosomes, sterile female.
