question 11 )

• W = i - 2j + 2k

• r = 4j - 3k.

we should calculate the magnitude of V

we know V = r x W

therefore, the cross product between the r and W gives V

r x W = 2i - 3j -4k = v

therefore the magnitude of V is √29


question 12)

the adjacent sides of a parallelogram are

V1 = i + 2j + 3k

V2 = 3i - 2j + K

we should calculate the area of the parallelogram

we know that, area of a parallelogram is

 |v1 \times v2|

therefore,

V1 x V2 = 8√3.
