According to the graph ,

Initial velocity u = 0 m/s
Final velocity v = 40 m/s
Total time taken = 2 hrs. = 2×3600 sec

then,
By First laws of motion :

v = u + at \\ \\ <br />40 = 0 + a×7200 \\ \\ <br />40 = a \times 7200 \\ \\ a = \frac{40}{7200} \\ \\ a = \frac{1}{180} \: m {s}^{ - 2}

Now ,
By Third laws of motion :

 {v}^{2} = {u}^{2} + 2as \\ \\ {40}^{2} = {0}^{2} + 2 \times \frac{1}{180} \times s \\ \\ 1600 = \frac{1}{90} \times s \\ \\ s = 1600 \times 90 \: \: m \\ \\ s = 144000 \: \: m \\ \\ s = 144 \: \: km
:. Total distance cover in 2 hrs. is 144 km
