Question of Active and passive voice...

why is the word BEING added in some sentences like
Dont u teach her
Ans. Is she taught by u

Who had used my computer in my absence
Ans. By whom was my computer being used in my absence...

in these two sentences, why only the word BEING is used in some places and also is their a way to find out where to add BEING and where no to add it ?

Pls help it is urgent...

The passive voice always uses the past participle form of the main verb irrespective of any tense. Only the auxiliary verbs depend upon the sentence given in the active voice.
