Pressure is dependent on area.
When the area of the base on which the force is acting large then the pressure acting on that body would be smaller but when the area is small on which the force is acting the pressure will be larger.

As the formula says pressure = force / area

As you can see that the pressure is in direct proportion with force but is in inverse proportion with area which simply means that when the area increases pressure decreases and when the area decreases the pressure increases.
