given= let the money respected to one person be "x"...

while the other be "y"...

then..
according to condition..

x + 100 be a first persons money...

while y - 100 be with respect to 2nd person...

then,, given , the 'x' person takes 100 from 'y'person...

hence it is given by...

x + 100 = 2( y-100)

x+ 100 =2y - 200

x - 2y = -300...==(1)

SIMILARLY ,,,

the other says. (not mentioned in the question..)...

when second takes 10 from another he becomes 6 times rich as him...

then it is given by...

y + 10 = 6(x-10)

y + 10 = 6x - 60

6x - y = 70..==(2)



from 1,, x - 2y = -300..

x = 2y - 300..==(3)

put 3 in eq 2..

6(2y-300)-y = 70..

11y - 1800= 70

11y = 1870..

y = 170₹..


.. then substitute this value in any equation,, in 1 or 2. .

we get ,

6x - y = 70..
6x - 170 = 70..
6x= 240.

x = 40₹...
