What is Coelom :

The coeloms is basically a body cavity that is filled with fluid that is found inside animals and it is located between intestinal canal & the body wall . It is formed from the three germinal layers that occurs during the 'embrynoic development' . The inner layer of the coeloms is lined by the 'mesodermal epthium cells'. Coelom differs in structure & formation .

Where are coelom found :

The coeloms or we can say celom is the main body cavity and it is present inside the body to surround & contains the digestive tracts & other organs .

Classification on the Basis of Coelom :

There are three types of coelom in animal kingdom :

❖ Acoelomate : It consist the animals that have no body cavity not at all . Example - Flatworms , Pork tapeworms etc ...

❖ Pseudocoelomate : It consist of animals which do have true coelom . So, in such a way they are called as psudocoelomate . They consit false body cavity filled with fluid . Example - Roundworms , Kinorhyncha etc ...

❖ Coelmate : Coelmate are also known as Eucoelmates or an organism with true body cavity coelom . Their coelom consist of complete mesodermal linning on both the sides . Example - Chordata , annelida , anthropoda etc ...
