Step-by-step explanation:

Circle diameter=8.4cm

radius=4.2cm

area of sector=18.48cm2

measure of arc=2*area of sector/radius

=2*18.48/4.2

=8.8cm

Given :-

The diameter of a circle is 8.4 cm

To Find :-

Find the area of the sector of the length of the arc is 2.8 pi centimeter.

Solution :-

We know that

Radius = Diameter/2

Radius = 8.4/2

Radius = 4.2 cm

Now

Area of arc = 2 × Area of sector/Radius

2.8π = 2 × Area of sector/4.2

2.8π = 2.1 × Area of sector

2.8π/2.1 = Area of sector

2.8 × 3.14/2.1 = Area of sector

4.18 = Area of sector
