SoluTion:

[17(2 - y) - 5(y + 12)]/(1 - 7y) = 8

→ [34 - 17y - 5y - 60] = 8 × 1 - 7y

→ 34 - 22y - 60 = 8 - 56 y

→ - 26 - 22y = 8 - 56y

→ - 22y + 56y = 8 + 26

→ 34y = 34

→ y = 34/34

→ y = 1

Hence, value of y will be 1.

✴ Given Expression :-

  • [17(2 - y) - 5(y + 12)]/(1 - 7y) = 8

✴ Solution :-

[ 17(2 - y) - 5(y + 12) ] = 8(1 - 7y).

Multiply them.

34 - 17y - 5y - 60 = 8 - 56y.

Use Transposition Method.

- 17y - 5y + 56y = 8 + 60 - 34

Add or Subtract Them.

34y = 34

Divide 34 by 34.

y = 34/34 = 1.

Hence, The Value Of Y = 1.
