→ [34 - 17y - 5y - 60] = 8 × 1 - 7y
→ 34 - 22y - 60 = 8 - 56 y
→ - 26 - 22y = 8 - 56y
→ - 22y + 56y = 8 + 26
→ 34y = 34
→ y = 34/34
→ y = 1
Hence, value of y will be 1.
