Now its given that al of these are in ratio if 4:3:2

Now considering the common ratio as x

We get the length as 4x, breadth as 3x, and height as 2x.

Now 3000 litres is basically the 3 cubic metres

Therefore, l*b*h = 3

Or, 4x*3x*2x= 3

Or, 24x^3= 3

Or, x=1/2

So as the common ratio is 1/2,

The length becomes 4/2=2m,

The breadth becomes 3/2=1.5m,

The height becomes 2/2=1m,

Now the total surface area becomes ,

2(lb+bh+lh)

=2*(2*1.5+1.5*1+2*1)sq.m


=13 sq.m

Now cost of painting is rs 0.25 per sq.m

So the total cost would be 0.25 * 13=3.25

So the the total cost is rs 3.25
