Answer:

Let the values,

Numerator = ( X - 8 )

Denominator = X

Fraction = Numerator/Denominator = ( X -8)/X.

When 3 is added to the numerator and 3 is subtracted from the denominator the fraction obtained is 3/4

X - 8 + 3 / X - 3 =3 /4

X-5/X-3 = 3/4

4X-20 = 3X-9

X = 11

So,(X-8)/X = (11-8)/11

Answer is 3/11
