The perimeter of a rectangle sheet is 100cm. if the length is 35cm, find it's breadth also find the area.

{\huge{\rm{\underline{\underline{Given:-}}}}}

⇒ The perimeter of a rectangle sheet = 100cm

⇒ The Length of a rectangle sheet is = 35 cm

{\huge{\rm{\underline{\underline{To \: Find :-}}}}}

⇒ The Breadth and Area of  rectangle sheet

{\huge{\rm{\underline{\underline{Solution :-}}}}}

⇒ Let the breadth be x

⇒ As we know that ,

\sf Perimeter\: of\: Rectangle\: = 2(Length + Breadth)

100 \:cm = 2 (35 +x)\\\\100 \: cm = 70 + 2x \\\\2x \: = \: 100 - 70 \\\\2x \: = \: 30 \\\\x \: = \: \frac{30}{2} \\\\\huge{\orange{\underline{\underline{x \:=\: 15}}}}

\sf Therefore \: , Breadth \: = 15 cm

⇒ Now , we will find the area

\sf Area \: of \: a \: rectangle\: = Length \times Breadth

= 35\: cm \times 15\: cm \\\\= 525\: cm^{2}
