so the equation will be

x + -10/7 = 8

x =  \frac{ 8}{1}  - \frac{ - 10}{7 }

x =  \frac{8 \times 7}{1 \times 7}  -  \frac{ - 10}{7}

x =  \frac{56 -(  - 10)}{7}

x =  \frac{56 + 10}{7}

x =  \frac{66}{7}
