Question

The volume of box is 145cm^3 . If height is 8cm and width is 2cm , then find its length​

Given :-

Volume of box =

{144}cm^{3}

Height of box = 8 cm

Width of box = 2cm

To find:-

Length of box

Solution:-

We know that volume = length × width × Height

Therefore

 {144}cm^{3}  \:  \:  =  \: l \:  \times  \: 2 \:  \times 8

Therefore, Length of box =

144 cm^{3} \:  \div  {16}cm^{2}

= 9 cm

Note :-

cm cube when divided by cm square it remains only cm
