Cilia can be defined as the organelle found in the body cavity of the eukaryotic cells. Cilia can be catagorized into two types namely, motile cilia and non-motile cilia. Motile cilia are termed as the secondary cilia and the non-motile cilia are termed as the primary cilia which is found in the sensory organs.
