Combination Reaction :-

A reaction in which two or more substances combine together to form a new substances, is called a combination reaction.  The following reactions are combination reaction :-

Sulphur dioxide and oxygen combine to form sulphur trioxide.

                 SO₂(g) + O₂(g)  ==>  SO₃(g)

Many combustion or burning reactions are also combination reaction.

For Example :-

                2Mg(g) + O₂(g)  ==>  2MgO(s)

Synthesis reactions are also combination reactions.

For Example :-

                 H₂(g)  + 3H₂(g) ==>  2HCL(g)
