What Is Photosynthesis?

Photosynthesis is the process in which green plants use sunlight to make their own food. Photosynthesis requires sunlight, chlorophyll, water, and carbon dioxide gas. Chlorophyll is a substance in all green plants, especially in the leaves. Plants take in water from the soil and carbon dioxide from the air.

Explanation:

photosynthesis is the process in which plants make their own food. the epicenter for this are the "leaves". the roots carry water and minerals from the soil from the soil, to the stem. the stem delivers it to the leaves. leaves already have one essential component in them which is the chlorophyll. leaves absorb two more main componenets for this process that are - CO2 and sunlight. after the process, the stem delivers this "food" to all the other parts of the plants which helps in their nourishment.
