No1.is Interest itself!
You need to delve deeper in the subject. Try going to the library and getting additional information. Internet is too distracting. At the most try videos of studytubers to get motivated. You can also see subject related videos for hands on learning
No2.is the Preparation
Go to all classes prepared. It might be the most boring geography lesson going on but if you have done some reading and research earlier then I can promise an enjoyable lesson.
No.3-study in advance
Its never too early to get a peek into those books. So get reading!
No4.- find out your learning style!
Not all people learn the same way. So find your little secret yourself by reading on:
1. If you remember pictures and diagrams better then congrats you are a VISUAL LEARNER! Focus your study time on making mind maps, diagrams, etc and learning them. Colour coding and using highlighters will work absolutely well.
2.If you remember just every word the teacher says then congrats, you are a AUDITORY LEARNER! All you need to learn is listen carefully and read your texts aloud to yourself and you will come out in shining colurs in no time!
3.If you are one of those who learns while pacing metres and metres, congrats you are a KINESTHETIC LEARNER! You are one of those for whom the old saying:"Practice makes man perfect" works the best. Write down everything the teacher says and practice it during your study time. And don't stop pacing!
No5.- Dealing with that tension!
Find out how tension works for you: some people's memory suddenly becomes extraordinarily efficient when in tension while tension causes others to forget all they've learnt!
No6.The notes
Have notes ready for the revision time so no dawdling around in search of them. Everyone have their own type of notes: some people need the text book, some need printed notes and some are efficient only with handwritten notes!
No7.Time management
Don't go near distractions during exam season: may it be your phone, bff or even your pet. There will be time later for them but in exam season get away from them.
Take a deep breath. You know you and only you can do it. Now off to study!
