Word

1)It can be seen as an single element of an writing which has its own meaning and it's meaning in a sentence or writing is taken according to the situation the sentence points at.

2)It can be a called as an smallest unit of an sentence which on joining in an correct and unique sequence gives sentence a definite meaning

Now,according to Grammer there are 8 parts or classes of a word(Parts of speech)=>

1)Noun

-It is commonly known as an naming word.

-It is used to name other things such as car, bike, mountains etc.

-It has mainly 5 sub parts=>

a)Common Noun

=Noun which is used for a common name given to a category.

examples=>car, bus,bird etc.

b)Proper Noun

=It is noun which is used for a specific group or category.

example=>Mango,Ice cream etc.

c)Abstract Noun

=Used for nouns which has no physical existence and are not concrete.

examples=>love, happiness etc.

d)Collective Noun

=Used for a group or collection on things.

examples=>Army, flock etc

e)Concrete Noun

=Used for the nouns which refer to people and things that exist physically and that at least one of the senses can detect.

example=>ball,water,sock etc.

2)Pronoun

-It is basically used to replace the noun on repeatation by noun.

-It makes the sentence sound better.

example=>I,me, they etc.

-It has 6 types=>

a)Personal pronouns (e.g., he, they)

-There are two kinds: subjective and objective pronouns.

-They are used to substitute the name of an person.

b)Demonstrative pronouns (e.g., this, these)

-They take the place of a noun that's already been mentioned. They can be singular or plural.

-It is also called Expressive word.

-It is used to describe a strong or sudden feeling,emotion etc.

-It is always preceded by an exclamatory sign.
