Given : WHEN A NUMBER IS DIVIDED BY ITSELF THE QUOTIENT IS 0

To Find : TRUE or  FALSE

Solution:

a = bq + r

dividend = divisor × quotient + remainder

a =dividend

b=  divisor

q = quotient

r = remainder

a number if divided by number it self

Hence

Dividend =  divisor   = x

x/x  = 1

x  = x * 1  + 0

Hence quotient = 1  and remainder = 0

Hence WHEN A NUMBER IS DIVIDED BY ITSELF THE QUOTIENT IS 0  is FALSE

as Quotient is 1   and remainder is zero
