Question = Why connecting wires are made of copper ?

because copper wire has low electrical resistance , copper is good conductor of electricity and also is not so expensive

Because of its very low resistivity (for very high conductivity), the resistance of the connecting wires made of copper do not add to the resistance of the circuit. Thus, current in the circuit is not affected practically.

Note. Copper being a dimegnatic metarial, a copper wire does not get magnetised on passing current through it. As a result, it does not produce any effect on the current.
