• On 12 march, Gandhi ji along with his followers travelled towards Dandi.
• Here, he broke the law by making salt.
• In Tamil Nadu, C. Rajagopalachari, led a similar March from Trichinopoly to Vedaranyam.
• In Gujarat, Sarojini Naidu protested front of the salt deports.
