\Huge \sf Reproduction\ In \ Amoeba \colon

Amoeba exhibits both binary fission and multiple fission in accordance with the favourability of the climate

During Favourable Climate ,

  • The parental amoeba divides in any axis to form two daughter cells

  • Parental Cytoplasm divides first

  • Which is followed by the nuclear division

  • The cells divides and two daughter cells are formed

During Unfavourable Climate,

  • During unfavourable climates, the psuedopodia elongate and form three layered thickening around the parental cell through a process known as Encystation

  • Further the nucleus divides into numerous nuclei

  • Onset of favourable climate, stimulates the breaking of cyst and formation of many new daughter cells
