★ Area and population : Area of Belgium is smaller than the indian state that is Haryana. Population is little over one crore.

★ Ethnic composition : In Belgium, 59% people speak Dutch language, 40% people speak French and only 1% of people speak German language.

★ Capital : In the capital of Belgium, that is Brussels, 60% of people speak French whereas 20% speak Dutch. In Brussels, dutch speaking are in minority but in the rest of the country, they're in majority.
